Daniel T. Kunz

Daniel T. Kunz of Cedarburg died peacefully at his home on Saturday July 16, at the age of 69 yrs. Daniel was born on March 12, 1936 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Theodore Kunz and Evelyn nee Miller and married Linda nee Hancock on April 21, 1973 at Community United Methodist Church in Cedarburg. Daniel was a former member of the Cedarburg Lions Club and Emergency Government, Ozaukee Board of Realtors and was retired from the U.S. Army -–121st Field Artillery, 57th Brigade. He was actively involved in many church activities at Community United Methodist Church, Friends of the Cedarburg Library. He also was a devoted of the Cedarburg Bulldogs, a caring husband and loving father, son, grandfather and friend. He was a graduate of Wauwatosa East High School and attended Marquette University. He is survived by his wife Linda of Cedarburg; Children; Kimberly Geoff Hurtado of Cedarburg, Brian Julie Kunz of Eden Prairie, MN, Diane Mike Aisbet of Trevor, WI, Kirstine Jon Kapfhammer of Medford, WI, Caroline Jeff Vanevenhoven of Brown Deer, Matthew Kelly Kunz of Brown Deer, Katherine Kunz of Shorewood & Elizabeth Kunz of Cedarburg, Mother; Evelyn Kunz of Random Lake, 1 brother Michael Sherry Kunz of Cedarburg and 1 sister Kathleen Walter Riley of Rochester Hills, MI. He is further survived by 11 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held on Thursday July 21, 11 AM at Community United Methodist Church in Cedarburg. Interment Zur Ruhe Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wed. July 20, at the church from 4 – 7 PM and Thursday at the church from 10 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Hancock Scholarship Fund or American Cancer Society appreciated.
