Daniel D. Floyd

Daniel D. Floyd entered into eternal life on Friday, May 12, 2017 at the age of 45. Dan is survived by his three beautiful children: Colleen, Sean, and Erin of Glenview, Illinois – whom he loved more than anything else in this world. An unapologetic Packers fan, lover of Bruce Springsteen, and avid golfer, Dan’s passion for life was unmatched. He lived to the fullest. Dan is further survived by his mother Judy Floyd of Mequon, Wisconsin; four sisters: Jennifer (David) Tighe, Susan (Charles) Potter, Maggie (Brian) Sewart , Annie (Floyd) Trujillo; brother: Michael (Patty)Floyd, Jr.; 17 nieces and nephews and one grandniece. Dan has joined his father, Michael Floyd, Sr., in eternal life. Dan was a graduate of Marquette University High School, Marquette University and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. He enjoyed a successful career in the investment banking industry beginning in Milwaukee with Robert W. Baird & Co. and later with Keefe, Bruyette & Woods in Chicago, Illinois. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 – 3:00 PM at Lumen Christi Catholic Church - 2750 W. Mequon Rd. Mequon, WI. Family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 1:30 PM – 2:45 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dan’s memory to Marquette University High School or the Charles E. Kubly Foundation.
