Clayton M. Leque

Clayton M. Leque of Grafton passed away into God’s hands at Heritage Nursing Home in Port Washington on April 2, 2013 at the age of 89. Clayton was born on October 14, 1923 in Etrick, WI . Clayton graduated from Galesville, WI the class of 1940. Clayton served 20 years in the United States Navy during WWII, Korean War and the Cuban Missile Crisis. Clayton worked as a letter carrier for the United States Post Office in Grafton. Clayton was a member of the Grafton American Legion Post, Grafton Senior Center and volunteered at Meals on Wheels for many years. Clayton is survived by his wife Annie (Nee Kubicki) of Grafton; Children: Debbie (Bruce) Williams of Grafton, Sandra Barry of Grafton, Debra (Shawn) Westmorland of San Antonio,Texas; Richard of Napervill, IL. Clayton is further survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many friends. Clayton was preceded in death by his parents; sons: Donald & Steven; and one sister, Ann. A memorial service will be at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Grafton on Saturday, April 13, 2013 – 1:00 PM. Family will receive friends at the church from 12 NOON until time of service.
