Charles J. Sandoval of Cedarburg died on December 1, 2012 at Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Campus in Mequon at the age of 84. Charles was born in Milwaukee, WI on June 2, 1928 the son of the late Vidal and Maria (nee Costellanos) Sandoval. Charles was united in marriage to Marrietta Dolores Neumann on September 9, 1950. Charles was a Korean War Veteran serving in the United States Army from 1951 – 1953. Charles was a member of the Peter Wollner American Legion Post #288 of Cedarburg, member of Advent Lutheran Church for over 40 years and was an usher for many of those years. Charles loved sports, all kinds of sports. He enjoyed playing and watching. Charles is survived by his wife Dolores (nee Neumann); Loving father of Christine, Steven (Sheri) and John Hill. Best damm grandpa in the world of Melissa (Mike) Jahnke, Matthew (Sarah) Hill, Jenna (Jeff) Klinger and Cory Sandoval. Loving GG of Jacob and Jake Klinger; Gabe Jahnke. Dear brother of Mary (John) Freeman, Bill (Sue) Sandoval and Margaret Dann. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by brother Robert; sister Esther and brother-in-law Denis. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 – 12 Noon at Advent Lutheran Church in Cedarburg. Private interment will take place at Immanuel Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Sat. from 10:30 – 11:45 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Advent Lutheran Church or Peter Wollner American Legion Post # 288 Cedarburg appreciated.
