Charles "Buz" O. Severin

Charles O. Severin (Buz) was called peacefully to his heavenly home on Monday, November 14, 2022,

at the age of 85, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Buz was born in Milwaukee on June 7, 1937. He was baptized at Gospel Lutheran Church, attended the grade school, and was a graduate of Milwaukee Lutheran High School.

He was preceded in death by his devoted parents, Otto and Ella, and son-in-law, Fritz Moertl.

Buz was loving father to son James (Julie) Severin, daughters Jean (Jeff) Kenny, and Judi Moertl.

He is further survived by his grandchildren Alex, Adam, and Andy Kenny, Brienna (Marcelo) Mellijor, Nicole (Nick) Borden, Kaileigh Moertl, Allison Severin, and Jake Moertl.

He is survived by sister Lois (Alger) Tormoehlen, spouse, Sandra, sisters-in-laws, brothers-in-laws, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a large circle of Christian friends.

His family would like to graciously thank Katie and Rebecca of Horizon Hospice for their devoted care and compassion over the past 8 months and the entire staff at Lawlis Family Hospice for their exceptional and gentle care in his final days.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 12:00pm (Noon) at Trinity Lutheran Church, 10729 W. Freistadt Road in Mequon.
