Cecil was born in Carroll, Iowa, October 25, 1930 and lived there until he graduated and enlisted in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. His career took off in Milwaukee where he spent his time with three Milwaukee advertising agencies specializing in client services. In seven years he accomplished that goal. Then it was time to retire. In his retirement he and his wife enjoyed traveling the world from China to New Zealand, Europe, Russia and Turkey. He loved roses and raised those in his garden. In addition he volunteered as a Docent at the Cedarburg General Store, the Ozaukee County Historical Society Pioneer Village, Ozaukee Economic Committee, his church and for the Cedarburg Cultural Center. His favorite spot was having a cup of coffee at the Coffee Roastery every day.
