Catherine "Kitty" J. Spain

(nee Kiefer) Of Grafton. April 30, 2016 at the age of 92 years. Loving daughter of the late Harry and Martha (nee Herz) Kiefer. Preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Bill, sister; Marilyn (the late Charlie) Schweitzer and brother; Joe (the late Kay) Kiefer. Will be dearly missed by her brother Donald (Carol) Kiefer, nieces and nephews; Debbie, Mike (Liz), Bob, Kathy (Dean) Kenny (Amy), Beth (Kurt) and Heidi, great-nieces and nephews; Steven, Andy, Kristin, Kelly, Mike, Corey and Sarah. Further survived by 11 ½ great-great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial Mass will be Thursday, May, 5, 2016 at 6:00pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1619 Washington Avenue, Grafton. Private burial St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation at the church on Thursday from 4:00pm to 5:45pm. Memorials to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church appreciated. Kitty served in the US Navy during WWII where she met Bill a USMC Guard at the San Diego Naval Hospital. She was an active member and volunteer at St. Joe’s for 43 years. Thanks to Fr.
