Catherine A. Hahn

Catherine A. Hahn (nee Staehler) of Butler passed away peacefully at Kathy Hospice in West Bend on Friday February 15, 2008 at the age of 90 years. Catherine was born in St. Michaels, WI on August 19, 1917 to the late Matthias & Katherine (nee Mueller) Staehler and married Joseph Hahn on August 24, 1940 at St. Michaels Catholic Church in St. Michaels, WI. Catherine & Joe were foster parents to many children through the Catholic Social Services. Catherine was also a charter member of the Altar Society and a member of the Christian Mothers. She is survived by her children; Fred (Jane) Hahn of New Berlin, Tom (Sara) Hahn of Sturgeon Bay, Joseph (Janice) Hahn of West Bend, Mary Kay (James) Wolf of West Bend, Mark (Jenny) Hahn of Milwaukee & Anne (Larry) of Seattle, WA. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, son John M. and grandson Joseph Hahn. She is further survived by 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday February 19, 6 PM at St. Agnes Catholic Church 12800 W. Fairmount Ave. in Butler. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 3:30 PM until 5:45 PM. Memorials of your choice are appreciated. Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg assisted the family with arrangements.
