Carol C. Heck, of Cedarburg, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at the West Allis Memorial Hospital, at the age of 80 years. A memorial gathering, honoring Carol Heck’s life, will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at the Heck residence, in Cedarburg from 1-5PM. Please contact the Heck family for further information. Carol was born on June 24, 1932, in Brush, Colorado, the daughter of the late Roy Husk and the late Olive (nee Frank) Husk. She graduated from Lincoln High School, in Milwaukee, and a year later, was united in marriage to Robert G. Heck on March 22, 1951. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Cynthia and Timothy. Carol and Bob enjoyed traveling abroad throughout their 60 years of marriage, spending time in Hawaii, Switzerland, France, England, Scotland, and taking cruises throughout the North Pacific Coast. Carol also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and reading, but her true love was spending time with her family and friends. In later years Carol enjoyed visiting the Cedarburg Senior Center playing bingo, Wii bowling and sharing meals with her friends. Carol was first employed by the Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company, in Milwaukee, and later worked for Mercury Marine, in Cedarburg, as a secretary for over 20 years. She later went to work for the Ozaukee County Sherriff’s Department as well as the District Attorney’s office, serving as a full-time secretary. Carol is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert G. Heck; children, Cynthia (Sandra Fifarek) Heck and Timothy (Debra) Heck; grandchildren, Kyle (Jessica) Heck, Mallory Heck, and David (Jerri) Solik-Fifarek; great-grandchildren, Kiana and Avri Solik-Fifarek; and siblings, Winifred Spasaro and Rod (Ruth) Husk. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Delores Zemlicka.
