Bruce Joseph Williams

Bruce Joseph Williams 11/3/58 - 11/20/19 Bruce Williams, passed peacefully on November 20, 2019 surrounded by family, friends and his kitty cats. Bruce was a generous, hardworking man with deep love, commitment, and loyalty to his friends and family. He loved to fly kites, kayak, and drive around in the warm weather in his little convertible. Bruce loved to travel and did so frequently; both recreationally and through his work as a severe weather siren installer. Bruce and Deb’s travels took them to 46 states and 6 countries around the world. Bruce excelled at fixing and building things. When asked about what he did for a job, everyone looks blank and then calls him a “McGyver.” He has supervised train maintenance and repair, maintained giant cutting machines, and installed early warning sirens 75 feet off the ground. He worked as a sign builder and took particular pride in his work at the Milwaukee County Zoo and Children’s Hospital. Bruce is survived by his wife Debbie, step-son Joseph (PJ) Culbert, granddaughters Gabby Culbert (Private, US Army) and Samantha Culbert, and sisters Valerie (Larry Gleason) Williams, Lynn (Ron) Palick, brother Paul (Sherrie) Williams, multiple cousins, and innumerable friends. In keeping with Bruce's wishes, a “nothing fancy” memorial service will be at the Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory, 979 N Green Bay Rd, Grafton, WI 53024 on Sunday December 1, 2019 at 3:00pm with visitation at the funeral home will be from 2:00pm until the time of service.
