Bruce J. Anderle

Bruce J. Anderle, long time resident of Cedarburg found peace surrounded by his family on May 14, 2013 at Horizon Hospice, Mequon. He was 76 years old. Bruce was born September 4, 1936 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Miles and Sylvia Anderle. After graduating from Cedarburg High School, Bruce attended UW-Madison and earned a degree in Finance & Business Administration. While at Madison, he met his lifelong love of 54 years, Virginia Hoy. They married on June 27, 1959 and eventually settled in Cedarburg. After marriage, he proudly served his country in the Wisconsin National Guard as an officer. For 32 years Bruce owned and operated a construction company in Cedarburg. He was dedicated to his career and passionate about his work. In his free time, he enjoyed photography, fishing, gardening, woodworking, reading, and spending time with his family. Bruce is survived by his wife Virginia and children, Lynn (James) Wagner, Laura Anderle-Smith, Michele (Joseph) Brown, and Michael (Michelle) Anderle. He was a loving grandpa to Hannah and Spencer Rettler; Sam, Alex, and Simon Brown; Gabriel and Isabelle Smith. He is further survived by his brother Douglas (Mary) Anderle, aunt Ellen Doyle, his best friend Larry (Charlotte) Hoffman and other relatives and friends. Memorial services including military honors will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, at Faith Lutheran Church N35 W6621 Wilson Ave. Cedarburg.
