Brian K. Schroeder,
Of Grafton, passed away on January 10, 2025, after a hard-fought battle with leukemia, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 52. Brian was born on September 19, 1972, to his parents, the late William “Bill” Schroeder and Jolanta (nee Kuzminski). He was united in marriage to Traci (nee Trombley) on February 15, 1997. Together their marriage was blessed with two daughters, Katie and Kaya.
After Brian graduated from Grafton High School in 1990, he moved to Arizona where Brian and Traci resided until 2002. In 2003, they moved back home to Wisconsin. Brian worked for Pope Scientific in Saukville as a systems manager.
You could always find Brian watching his beloved football team, the Packers, along with many other sporting events. He enjoyed taking trips to the casino, learning more about science, which he thought was very cool, but his one true enjoyment was spending time with his loving family.
Brian is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Traci and his two beloved daughters, Katie and Kaya; his mother, Jolanta; one brother, Scott (Peg); his three sisters-in-law, Sheri, Sande (Bob), Tami (Dan); and brother-in-law, Mark (Suzzette). He is further survived by his uncle Michael (Tricia); his aunts, Susan (Bill) and Lorna (Jim); his granddogter, Luna; along with many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Bill and his stepmom, Patti (nee Bartsch), along with his beloved father-in-law, Gene Trombley, mother-in-law, Beryl Trombley; grandparents, Paul and Jeanette; brother-in-law, Steve; two uncles, Chuck and Tom; and his loving dogs, Maggie and Stella.
There will be a memorial service for Brian at St. Paul Lutheran Church (701 Washington Street, Grafton, WI 53024) on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 12:00 PM. A visitation will take place from 10:00 AM until 11:45 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Diabetes Association, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, or the family are appreciated. A special thanks to everyone at Pope Scientific for their love and support, along with Dr. Guru and all who cared for Brian at Froedtert Hospital. The family would like to express their gratitude to the many friends and family who helped throughout this journey.
