Bonnie Jean Meier

Meier, Bonnie Jean Passed away on September 4, 2009 at the age of 67 yrs. Born in Darlington, Wisconsin, daughter of Albert and Hedy Ruef, survived by her husband, Paul of 48 years (Cedarburg, WI and Grand Marais, MN), three children, Scott Meier (Milwaukee, WI), Mark Meier (Port Washington, WI), and Audrey Milton (Lafayette, CO). Further survived by her sister Linda Hawkins (Port Jefferson, NY), brother Harold Ruef (Darlington, WI), mother Hedy Ruef (Darlington, WI), and three grandchildren, Thorsen and Shannon Milton (Lafayette, CO), Peter Jacob Meier (Port Washington, WI), and many other relatives and friends. Bonnie lost her silent battle with breast cancer, but she did it her way. Her family would especially like to thank our nurse-angel Christine Kretschmer, the nurses and doctors of St. Lukes Medical Center (Milwaukee, WI), and the Zilber Family Hospice (Wauwatosa, WI).
