Bernadine C. Robinson

Bernadine C. Robinson (née Van Boekel) was peacefully called home to her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at the age of 91.

Bernadine was born on August 25, 1933 in Kimberly, WI to the late Anthony and Blanche Van Boekel. Bernadine graduated from Kimberly High School with the class of 1951. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her five children, 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Her family meant everything to her.

Her house was always busy to her many family members especially when they knew she was making her famous dinner of “meat gravy”. The grandkids also enjoyed decorating her cutout cookies for every holiday. She enjoyed playing cards, teaching new card games to the family, puzzles and reading.

Bernadine is survived by her children: Sheila Holm, Bonnie Robinson, Terry (Tammy) Robinson, Rick Robinson, Vicki (Cliff) Ahrens; grandchildren: Jennifer Secord, Michael Cina, Kristi Valenti, Charlene (Marty) Robbins, Meghann Michaud, Crystal Robinson, Laura (Sean) Peters, Matthew Robinson, Bailey (Carter) Keenan, Morgan Ahrens; great grandchildren: Madison & Maia Lambrecht; Matilda Jaeger, Will & Jackson Secord; Scarlett Cina, Gabe & Max Guehrer; Caleb Michaud, Kinsley & Killian Klenke; Alice & Calvin Peters; brother, Mike (Jean) Van Boekel and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son-in-law Gale Holm; sister Mary (Armando) DiFonso; brothers: Frank (Ila) Van Boekel and Jerry (MaryAnn) Van Boekel

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025 – 12:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grafton, WI. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday. from 10:30 AM – 11:45 AM. Inurnment will be held at a later day at Pine Grove Cemetery in Wausau, WI. 

The family would like to thank Anita’s Gardens, Grafton, WI and Aurora Zilber Family Hospice Wauwatosa, WI for the special care they provided for Bernadine.
