Audrey Mae Fredrich of Glendale, WI and formerly of Grafton, WI, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2022, following a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. She was 74 years old. Audrey was born in Port Washington, WI and raised in Grafton, WI. She was born on March 30, 1948 and was the fourth daughter of Gordon and Ruth (Meyer) Fredrich. She was baptized April 18, 1948 and confirmed April 15th, 1962 at St. Paul Lutheran in Grafton, WI. Audrey received her certification in x-ray technology from Milwaukee Lutheran Hospital. After working at several hospitals, she became the Manager of Oncology at St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee, WI and Northwestern Hospital in Chicago, IL. She then went into Oncology equipment sales and worked for both Phillips and Siemen’s. During her time in medical equipment sales she earned a number of top sales awards and took great pride in her accomplishments. Her final career move took her to Boston, MA, as a vice president at Nelco. Audrey had a strong work ethic and thoroughly enjoyed being a mentor and confidant to numerous co-workers who became life-long friends. Audrey’s greatest priority and joy was spending time with her family. She loved all the gatherings of her large family, often bringing treats and gifts for the little ones. She enjoyed spending time at her cottage in Three Lakes, WI, as well as traveling the world with her family and friends. Her love of life was evident in the stories she told about her travel experiences. She especially loved the German Christmas markets and was blessed to experience the markets on multiple occasions. In retirement Audrey enjoyed crafts of all kinds and sharing her baked goods with her family and friends. Audrey is survived by her sisters Lois Giese, Shirley (Dave) Bonomo, Teri Fredrich, Beth (Randy) Martin, Brother-in-law Chuck Meunier. She is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews and many extended members of her family. She is further survived by many special friends whose lives were touched by her kindness and love. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents Gordon and Ruth Fredrich, sisters; Jeannette Meunier and Carol Babicky; Brothers-in-law Alvin Giese and Allen Babicky, and nephew Rick Giese. The family of Audrey would like to thank the staff at Silverado North Shore Memory Care and Brighton Hospice for their loving care and attention to Audrey and our family during her final days of life. A celebration of Audrey’s life will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton on May 5th, 2022. There will be a visitation time from 2:00pm to 4:00pm with the service following at 4:00pm.
