Atha Crosby

Atha L. Crosby, 98, of Mequon, Wisconsin, passed into eternal life on Sunday, May 2, 2004. Private family services were held. Inurnment at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin, Minnesota. Mueller Funeral Home of Cedarburg assisted the family. Atha was born on March 24, 1906, in Kirksville, Missouri, to Herbert and Martha Crow. She later married Martin E. Crosby on June 23, 1926 in Mason City, Iowa. Atha was a life long member of the Methodist Church in Austin, Minnesota. She moved to Mequon, Wisconsin in 1998, to be with her daughter, Virginia and son-in-law Gene Klatt and their family. Atha is survived by her daughter: Virginia Eugene Klatt of Mequon, Daughter-in-law: Theresa Crosby, Grandchildren: Kari Robert Miller Klatt, Thomas Mary Klatt, Elizabeth Crosby, Mike Crosby, Mark Crosby, Mary Crosby, John Darcy Crosby, and Thomas Patti Crosby, Great-grandchildren: Mitchell and Kendall Klatt, Jourdan, Chase, and Nicky Miller, William, Isabel, Sarah, Zachary, Chloe and Hailey Crosby. Atha is futher survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband of 64 years Martin E. Crosby, one son William E. Crosby, an infant son, one sister and two brothers.
