Arthur J. Fromm

Arthur John Fromm, age 53, of Madison, died on Tuesday night, October 26, 2004, as a result of a traffic accident. Art was born in Port Washington, on August 7, 1951, to the late Marvin Fromm and the late Esther Schreiber Fromm. Art graduated from Cedarburg High School. He then attended the University of Iowa at Ames. After earning his degree in horticulture, he joined the Peace Corps. They sent him to western Africa where he worked with villagers on how to more effectively farm their plots of land. When Art’s two-year stint was up, he moved to Kingston, NY. There he worked for a major apple orchard in Hudson River Valley. Later, he worked at orchards in La Crescent, MN and Gays Mills, WI. He spent his last years in Madison where he worked at the Oscar Mayer plant. Art is survived by his three brothers, William La Verne Fromm of Parker, CO, Wallace Marge Fromm of Sparta, and Warren Fromm of Madison. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 11, 2005 11:15 AM at Mueller Funeral Home W63 N527 Hanover Ave., Cedarburg, WI 53012. Inurnment will take place at Immanuel Cemetery in Cedarburg. Family will receive friends from 10AM until time of service. Memorials of your choice are appreciated.
