Arnold G. Schoessow

Arnold G. Schoessow Of Germantown, was called to his home in heaven on September 14, 2015 at the age of 94. Arnold was born on December 11, 1920 the son of Edmund and Ottillie (Nee Bellin) Schoessow. On May 1, 1946 he married Doris Krueger. Together they worked side by side on the family farm raising their four children: Son, Richard (Jane) Schoessow of Fredonia; Daughters: Mary (Tom) Bauer of Helenville, Patti (Aaron) Gettelman of Ixonia and Debbie (Todd) Johnson of Germantown; grandfather of Andy (Dawn) Bauer & Eric Bauer; great grandfather of Emilee, Jacob and Brooke Bauer. Also surviving is his friend and devoted caregiver Cindy, who has been with our family for the past five years, first caring for Doris until her passing and then Arnold as well. Arnold was preceded in death by his wife Doris of nearly 67 years; two sisters: Edna Schoessow and Frieda Schmeling; and brother-in-law Eugene Schmeling. Arnold loved farming, cutting wood for his furnace and taking care of his family. He was also a lifelong member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Freistadt, beginning with his baptism on December 19, 1920 and confirmation on May 20, 1934. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015 – 3:00 PM at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church 10729 W. Freistadt Rd. Mequon. Family will receive friends on Sunday at the church from 1:30 – 2:45 PM. Memorials to Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church appreciated.
