Ardell H. “Peebs” Guetzke, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 14, 2016, at his home, in Cedarburg, at the age of 73 years. Ardell was born in Port Washington, the son of Gilbert Guetzke and Anna (nee Bernhardt) Guetzke. He attended his schooling in the Cedarburg school district and graduated from Cedarburg High School. Ardell was a dedicated employee of both Doerr Electric and W.W. Grainger, in Grafton, for over 30 years. He was a faithful and active longtime member at Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Cedarburg. Ardell was also a past member of the Cedarburg Fire Department and could be found assisting the fire department at Maxwell Street Days. He enjoyed listening to polka music as well as bowling in various leagues in both Cedarburg and Grafton. Beloved son of the late Gilbert and the late Anna Guetzke. Proud brother of the late Ray Guetzke. Dear brother in-law of Judith Guetzke (nee Deppiesse). Loving uncle of Nancy (Edward) Wells and Matt (Rose Rabine) Guetzke. Cherished uncle “No-No” of Kyle (fiancée Paige) Burich and their son, Kane, Tyler Burich, and Katie Guetzke. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016, 4PM at the Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory, in Cedarburg. The family will receive friends and relatives, on Saturday, from 2PM until 3:45PM. The Rev. Vicki Simon, of Immanuel Lutheran Church will officiate the services. Memorials in Ardell’s name can be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or to the Cedarburg Fire Department.
