Arbutus L. Doolittle

Arbutus Lytle Doolittle, passed away on the twenty-first of January narrowly missing her goal of living to be 100 on April 23. Arbutus and Allen Lytle were partners in a Cedarburg business manufacturing food for foxes and mink, before retiring to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Arbutus was a Cedarburg Girl Scout troop leader, a past president of the Peter Wollner Post 288 American Legion Auxiliary and past president of the Cedarburg Womans Club. She was preceded in death by husbands, Allen Lytle and Wendell Doolittle. Loving survivors include daughter, Judy Harrison, granddaughter, Kathy Harrison, son-in-law Wendell Doolittle, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family wishes to extend sincere and heartfelt thanks to Dr. James Heise for his care and compassion. A memorial service will be led by Pastor David Blackmer, at Community United Methodist Church on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 1:00PM. The family will receive friends immediately after the service.
