Anthony J. Fojut

Anthony (Tony) James Fojut, 83, of Cedarburg, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 25th, with his family at his side. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a passion for life.

Born on March 6, 1940, Anthony was a devoted father to his three children, Michele, Michael, and Gregg. He was a pillar of strength and support, always there to offer guidance and encouragement. His love for his family was evident in the countless cherished memories they created together.

Anthony grew up in Milwaukee, WI and attended Messner Catholic High School, where he met his wife, Carol Ann (Achatz). Anthony served his country in the Army reserves before he and his wife, Carol, settled in Cedarburg, WI. They were one of the first homes in the neighborhood. Anthony and Carol started their family here and considered Cedarburg home for the rest of his life.

Anthony had an analytical mind and enjoyed solving problems. He integrated this into his career in industrial manufacturing. He was a tool design engineer at Falk Corporation and Wacker Neuson.

A true enthusiast of the game, Anthony found immense joy on the golf course. Golf was a family event that he enjoyed with his father (Vincent), brother (Thomas) and sons (Michael and Gregg). Whether it was a sunny day with friends, or a quiet afternoon spent practicing his swing, golf was not just a hobby but a source of happiness and camaraderie. His passion for the sport will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of sharing those moments with him.

Anthony James Fojut is survived by his wife, Carol Ann (Achatz), his brother Thomas (Chandra), his children Michele, Michael (Shannon) and Gregg (Karen), his grandchildren Kayla (Dustin), Ellie, Max, Luke and his great-granddaughter Raelynn, and a community of friends who will forever cherish the time they spent with him. As they navigate this difficult time, may they find comfort in the memories that bring smiles to their faces and warmth to their hearts.

A private memorial service is scheduled to celebrate Anthony's life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to PGA Hope for Veterans in Anthony Fojut's honor.
