Anita E. Larson

Anita Ella Larson (nee Gisler)

Anita entered heaven on December 20, 2024, joining her husband, Don, and other loved ones already in heaven who rejoiced upon her arrival home. A funeral service will be held at Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg at 11:15 AM with a visitation from 10:30 AM till service time. Rev. Dr. Timothy Maschke from St. Paul's Lutheran Church will be officiating the service.

Anita was born to Ernst and Martha Gisler (nee Kaestner) on January 6th, 1931, one of four daughters. One sister who died shortly after birth, Anita's twin, Edna Dobberpuhl died in 2021. Older sister, Viola, is a resident of Lasata Care Center, as were Anita and Edna before passing.

Anita grew up on her father and mother's farm in Milwaukee, which sold their harvest to support the family. A graduate of Custer High School, Anita was working as a secretary when she met and then married Donald Larson in 1967 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Grafton. They shared a home with sprawling grounds in Grafton and hosted many family events. Anita's gracious manner and positivity never faded.

Anita is survived by sister Viola Prinsen and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Remembrances, in lieu of flowers may be made to Lasata Care Center for community activities.
