Alvin G Anschuetz

A funeral service was held on Monday June 26, 2006 – 6:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Cedarburg for Alvin G. Anschuetz, 99 of Cedarburg who died at Lasata Care Center on June 23, 2006. Visitation was held at the church on Monday from 4:30 PM until time of service. Interment was at Immanuel Cemetery. Alvin and Genevieve were married on June 28, 1947 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Alvin was a retiree of the Briggs and Stratton Corporation where he worked for 31 years. He also served his country in the United States Army for 3 years and later joined the Cedarburg American Legion Post # 288 of which he was a member for over 50 years. Alvin was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where he served on the church council and was also a member of the dart ball team. Alvin also enjoyed playing card and was always happy. Alvin is survived by his wife Genevieve nee Moser; nephews Gilbert Anschuetz, Douglas Pamela Anschuetz, Ronald Cathleen Anschuetz; many other relatives and friends. Alvin was preceded in death by 2 brothers Melvin and Raymond and 1 sister-in-law Laura. Alvin’s family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff and care givers at Lasata Care Center for the wonderful care he received.
