Alice R. Kohlwey

Alice Kohlwey (nee Sponer) of Grafton passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 6, 2011 at Kathy Hospice in West Bend at the age of 81 years. Alice was born in Milwaukee on July 9, 1929 to the late Louis & Emma (nee Gepfer) Sponer and married the late E. Frederic Kohlwey on April 7, 1951 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton. Alice was a long time active member at St. Paul Lutheran Church where she shared her talents in the St. Paul Quilting Club, Ozaukee Co. Homemakers Club, Ozaukee Co. Retarded Citizens Organization, Portal Industries, and was a past leader for the Covered Bridge 4-H Club. She is survived by her children; John (Sandra) of Chippewa Falls, Coreen (Robert) Kranski of Port Washington, Kathy Ruedinger of Fond duLac, & Ronald of Belgium, grandchildren; Brian & Scott Dobson of North Fond du Lac,Jay Kozlowski of Hayward, Dustin & Danielle Kohlwey of Chippewa Falls, 1 great grandchild Teven Dobson of North Fond du Lac, 1 brother Robert (Chris) Sponer of Manitowish Waters, 1 sister Dorothy Rockwood of Goshen, IN. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Private graveside services were held at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery,
