Vada (Alice) Dickmann, age 93, of Saukville, WI passed away peacefully on December 7, 2022 at Cedar Community in West Bend, WI. Alice was born on January 14, 1929 to Vada and Claude Dalton in Barnum, WI. Alice dedicated her life to being a fantastic and wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was always there for her family and she was the “glue” that kept everyone together. Alice enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at the cottage near Shawano, WI and later on, going on many camping trips throughout the country in their 5th wheel camper.
Alice was a member of the Ladies Aide at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg, WI where she enjoyed quilting and knitting, and made several beautiful quilts and afghans for church, as well as for her family members.
Alice was predeceased by her parents (Vada and Claude Dalton), husband (Ralph E. Dickmann), and oldest son (Ralph Dickmann, Jr.). Also, brothers, Claude “Sony” Dalton, Thomas Dalton, and sister, Mary Lou Pipkorn.
She is survived by her children: Sandra (Robert) Schroeder, Richard (Kim) Dickmann, Phillip (friend Sue) Dickmann, Ted (Donna) Dickmann, Michael (Jodi) Dickmann; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff on the Forestview wing at Cedar Community for the excellent care that they provided to Alice while she was there. We are very grateful for such caring and compassionate individuals!
