Alejandro "Alex" Ruiz

Alejandro “Alex” Ruiz received the gift of eternal life on Monday, December 11, at the age of 62. He was born on June 17, 1961, to Emma (nee Castillejos) and the late Gregorio Ruiz. He was the dear brother of Elsa Ali, Jorge (Karen) Ruiz, Nora Ruiz, Nancy (Steve) Schoessow, and the late Cesar “Rudy” Ruiz, and uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Alex attended school in Cedarburg, Wisconsin from kindergarten through high school and was an avid sportsman who broke records in track and field. He also enjoyed golfing, softball, and bowling. He was super competitive in everything he did and lived by the ethos of “go big or go home.”

Alex took great pride in his life’s work as a welder. He excelled in his craft and traveled to different parts of the country to work on projects that required his advanced skills.  Alex possessed a magnetic personality and was well known throughout the community. It was easy to find him at any social gathering – he had a great sense of humor and generous spirit. He will be missed by many.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 – 6:30 PM at Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory 979 N. Green Bay Rd. Grafton with Rev. Vicki Simon officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 PM – 6:15 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials of your choice are appreciated.
