Alda L. Rappold

Funeral services will be held on Thursday October 24, 11 AM for Alda L. Rappold formerl y of Cedarburg at Faith Lutheran Church N35 W6621 Wilson Ave Cedarburg. The visitation will be at the church Thursday from 10 – 10:45 AM. Burial will be at Immanuel Cemetery. Alda passed away on Friday October 18, 2019 in Mahtomedi, MN. Alda was born on September 5, 1920, the daughter of Richard and Ann (nee Tews) Kurtz. She was united in marriage to Edward A. Rappold on August 2, 1941, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cedarburg. Their marriage was blessed with two daughters, Gail & Lynn. Alda spent her early years as a beautician. After her daughters were on their own she worked for the Wisconsin Electric Power Company. She retired in 1982. Alda was active in her church as a member of the ladies aid, sewing quilts, participating in bible study groups and serving in the kitchen. Alda was preceded in death by her husband, Edward. She is survived by daughters Gail (and the late Michael) Hoffman and Lynn (Roger) Hamblin; grandchildren Daniel Hoffman, Stephen Hoffman, Megan (Jeff) Pothen and Jeremy (Christy) Hamblin; great-grandchildren Austin, Zoey, and Dylan Hoffman, and Grant, Gavin and Zac Hamblin; and siblings Celia Wollner and Doris Barelmann. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
