A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2010, at 1PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Grafton, for Agnes A. Agnes was born on August 7, 1916, to Anton and Theresa (nee Robel) Rausch, and grew up on the Rausch farm in Grafton with 12 other siblings (7 brothers and 5 sisters). Her favorite memory of the farm was a story of Old Shep, the family dog, and she and Priscilla brought the cows home from the pasture. Farm life was challenging but rewarding. Agnes married Clarence Rilling on January 30, 1937, at St. Joseph Parish in Grafton. Together they raised four children, 3 daughters and a son. Her favorite memory of Clarence was going to the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago to see Guy Lombardo. Clarence died on November 10, 1979, and after his death, Agnes moved to Milwaukee to live with her daughter, Beverly, where she resided for the last 30 years. Agness favorite tv show was Lawrence Welk. She got to see the Friends of Lawrence Welk several times with Beverly, both in Milwaukee and also their last show in Branson, Missouri. Agnes is survived by her children Marlene (John) Fix of San Diego CA, Phyllis Klose of Jacksonville FL, Kenneth (Stacy) Rilling of Cupertino CA and Beverly (LeRoy) Jahnke of Milwaukee WI; grandchildren Bill (Melissa) Clark of Oregon WI and Christopher (Misuka) Fix of Moreno Valley CA; great-granddaughter Nicole Fix of Moreno Valley NCA; sisters Lillian Neuenfeldt of Saukville WI and Priscilla (Lawrence) Schmidt of Port Washington WI; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Clarence, 7 brothers and 3 sisters. She was a sweet, loving, kind, old-fashioned grandma. We know she has a non-stop flight to heaven, and she is in a better place. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Joseph Catholic Church appreciated.
