William F. Griesbach, Jr.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 10:30am at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church, 1375 Covered Bridge Road, Cedarburg for William F. Griesbach, Jr, a long time resident of Grafton who died on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the age of 88 years surrounded by his family at Cedar Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center from natural causes. Visitation will be held at church on Tuesday from 9:00 until 10:15am and Monday, March 3, 2014 at the Grafton Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory, 979 N. Green Bay Road form 4:00pm until the time of Prayer Service at 7:00pm. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Mequon with full Military Honors. William was born in Menasha, Wisconsin on May 13, 1925, the son of the late William F. and Susan (nee Hauser) Griesbach, Sr. William was united in marriage 62 years ago to Joan (nee Fleissner) and they were blessed with 3 children. He served his country in the US Army for three years in WWII and was honorably discharged in March of 1946. William had a great love for the game of golf and could be found on the links quite often. William is survived by his wife of 62 years, Joan, children; Susan (Robert) Katrosits, Daniel (Margot) and Judith (Charles) Koenings, grandchildren; Therese and Matthew Katrosits, Brian (Carla) and David Griesbach and Adam and Jenna Koenings, great-grandchild; Adrian Katrosits, siblings; Robert Griesbach, Donna Mahoney and Virginia Swichtenberg. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends.
