Walter B. Jarvey

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wed., July 2, 2008, 11AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church (1619 Washington St.) in Grafton, for Walter B. Jarvey.  Visitation will be held on Wed., from 9:30AM until time of Mass.  Fr. Steve Lampe will officiate.  Entombment will take place at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Mequon.    Walter was born on August 11, 1932, in Green Bay to the late Walter and the late Margaret (nee Wroblewski) Jarvey.    Walter married Helen Versegi at St. Leo Catholic Church in Milwaukee on July 5, 1952.  Later that same year, he was drafted into the Army during the Korean War where he served as a Personnel Management Specialist.  Walter received his honorable discharge in December of 1960.  He and Helen lived in Milwaukee until 1966 when they built their home in Grafton.  Walter was employed at and retired from Telsmith where he worked for over 30 years.   Walter was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.  He also enjoyed playing cards, and going bowling and golfing.   Walter is survived by his wife, Helen; siblings Gwen (Michael) Hannon, and Rudy (Judy) Jarvey; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.  Walter was preceded in death by his sister Shirley Monfils-Nyman.
