Verne O Mccoy

Verne O. McCoy (Nee Patzer) passed away peacefully at Newcastle Place in Mequon, WI on October 21, 2019 at the age of 94. Verne was born in Milwaukee, WI on January 11, 1925 the daughter of the late Henry L. & Esther R. (Nee Schroeder). Verne was united in marriage to her late husband, Robert T. McCoy on August 31, 1946. Together they were blessed with three children. Verne enjoyed playing Bridge with her lady friends, gardening, baking and going to her lake home. Verne was well known for making her famous Cherry Chocolate Cake. Verne is survived by her children: Michael “John” (Mary Kuenzli) Martin, Theodore (Carol) McCoy; daughter-in-law LeAnn Walters; grandchildren: Mike (Melissa) McCoy, Matt McCoy and Katie McCoy and great granddaughter, Paityn; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Verne was preceded in death by her son Robert T. “Bobby” McCoy Jr. and her brother Frederick Patzer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 – 11:00 AM at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church in Cedarburg. Private interment will take place at Pinelawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 AM – 10:45 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society of WI or the American Heart/Stroke Association.
