Thomas J. Mueller, Sr.

Thomas John Mueller, age 69, died at home in Cedarburg, Wisconsin on Friday, April 29, 2016. He was married in 1971 to Diane Fay Nystrom and they had four children. Diane sadly passed away in 1986 and Tom went on to raise his four children on his own. Born December 23, 1946, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he lived in eight states before settling in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. He graduated from Upper Arlington High School and from Southern Illinois University. He proudly served in the US Army. He worked for years in the oil industry as a Chief Financial Officer and subsequently started a professional consulting firm specializing in cleaning up blighted, contaminated properties. Preceding him in death were his parents Sylvester E. and Carol Mueller, and his sister Susan J. Sladoje. Survivors include sons Thomas, John, Michael (Sheila Zillmann), daughter Allison (Zach Fenton), six grandchildren (Kaeli, Wyatt, Callahan, Penelope, Charlston, and August), and sister, Cathy Slingerland.
