Stanley L. “Stosh” “Stan” Kulczyski Jr., of Grafton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 3, 2017, at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital, in Mequon, at the age of 79 years. Stan was born on December 13, 1937, in Leona, Wisconsin, the son of the late Stanley L. Kulczyski Sr. and the late Verna (nee McDaniel) Kulczyski. He later served his country in the United States Army for four years and was honorably discharged. Stan was united in marriage to Marlene Dunkel on January 21, 1961, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, in Grafton. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Kurt and Kari. Stan was employed by Simplicity Manufacturing, in Port Washington, for over 36 years, working as a dedicated shipping clerk. Stan was a longtime resident of Grafton and was very involved in his community. He served as a volunteer fire fighter for the Grafton Fire Department for over 20 years and was involved in major fundraising for Special Olympics for many years. He loved his Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and Wisconsin Badgers, as well as watching his favorite Nascar driver, Matt Kenseth. He enjoyed fishing and deer hunting, but his true love was spending time with his family, especially his three grandchildren. Stan will be best remembered for his zest for life, his love for jokes, and “Stan’s Chili”. Stan is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Marlene Kulczyski, children, Kurt Kulczyski and Kari (Brian Beschta) Henrichs, grandchildren, Jereme Wilhelme, Matthew James Kulczyski, and Kayla Marie Kulczyski. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017, 5:30PM at the Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory, in Grafton with military honors to follow. He will be in state on Thursday, from 3:30PM until 5:30PM. Memorials to St. Paul Lutheran School, in Grafton, are appreciated.
