Sharon A. Berger On June 13, 2015, Sharon Berger, loving spouse, mother, grandmother, and friend, entered the gates of eternal life to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Born on December 31, 1954, she has brought joy and comfort to the many people she has touched during her 60 years here on earth. A celebration of this time will be held at First Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg, on Thursday June 18, 2015, at 8:00 pm. A visitation will precede the service from 5:00 pm until 7:45 pm. All those touched by this magnificent woman, are welcome to attend and celebrate those special relationships. Born to Alice and Mathias Hoffmann in Trenton, NJ, Sharon was the third and youngest daughter. Her parents, along with her sisters, Lillian and Kathy, guided and molded her into the thoughtful person we have come to cherish. Fate aligned in Milwaukee on a cold December day in 1973 while Sharon was attending Marquette University – for this was the day she fell deeply in love with her best friend and love of her life, Tom. Only a few short years later, they wed on July 31, 1976. After moving to Cedarburg in 1978, Tom and Sharon had their first child, Joseph in 1979, followed by Debbie in 1980. Her children were the number one passion in Sharon’s life. Seeing her children grow and helping them mature into God loving, respectful, and equally thoughtful adults was her purpose in this life. As many of her friends know, Sharon was passionate about her relationship with her Father, Jesus Christ. She was always excited to discuss salvation with others and radiated His love in her daily interactions. Family and friends were number one in her life, even to her own sacrifice. Sharon’s joy lit up a room when she entered. Her compassion was evident in her relationships with others and those around her. Sharon embraced every day she was able to spend with her two grandchildren, Natalie and Nadia. Time spent with them, her husband, children, family and beloved dog Barney, were always embraced as the most important time in one’s existence. Sharon will be sorely missed by those she knew. Her husband, and best friend Tom, will continue to reminisce the time they had together. Whether it was hiking in the woods with Barney, creating wonderful memories with their close friends while traveling, or even spending a night cuddled up on the couch with Tom, her memory will forever live on in each of our hearts. Walk with us down these trails again, for you will forever be by our side. Additional nieces, nephews, family and friends will continue to remember her kindness. In lieu of flowers, memorials of your choice are appreciated. “I can do all things through Him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13
