Sandra J. Jaeger

Of Grafton, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at the age of 78.

Sandy was born in Port Washington, WI on August 18, 1946, to the late Harold and Bernice (nee Jaeger) Rappold. Also preceded in death by her brother James Rappold.

She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Vern Jaeger, four children: Lori (Craig) Coulthart, Cari (Steve) Rogers, Becki (Mike) Carr, and Jodi Merlock, along with two stepchildren: Lisa Chaudier and Brian Jaeger, siblings, Cheryl (Siegmar) Voss and brother Wayne (Jen) Rappold. Further survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Sandy was an amazing mom and wife with a beautiful smile and a heart to match. She touched all those who knew her and will be missed by so many.

She grew up around flowers and plants in the greenhouses of her parent’s flower shop (Rappold Florist) where she developed an amazing talent for designing flower arrangements. After retiring from International Paper, alongside her gifted husband, Vern, they grew and sold Perennials. In addition to harnessing her green thumb, Sandy loved to read, spend time with family playing games, traveling and, if the opportunity arose, to play the slots.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Mueller Funeral Home (W63 N527 Hanover Avenue Cedarburg, WI) from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. A private memorial service for family only will be held immediately following the visitation. Inurnment will take place at Immanuel Cemetery, in Cedarburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Our Savior Lutheran Church, in Grafton are appreciated.

The family extends a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Aurora Grafton Hospital and Aurora Cancer Center Grafton for their excellent and compassionate care.
