Ruth "Ruthie" Emily Klenner

KLENNER FREITAG RUTH “Ruthie” (nee Jerschefske) of CEDARBURG. After a long blessed life went to heaven on July 19, 2018 from the Lasata Care Center. She was a caring and thoughtful person, a wonderful lady, always putting others first. Ruth was a lifelong resident of Cedarburg, and a lifetime member and devoted volunteer of First Immanuel Lutheran Church. She is survived her special friend, Teno Mueller and by her daughters, Jill (Randy) Radke of Cedarburg, Wendy Freitag (Ron Spasaro) and Becky (John) Helmlinger, both of Grafton. Proud grandma of Eric (Lora) Radke of Campbellsport, Chad (Kelly) Radke of Wausau, and Amy (Fred) Schomann of Sussex. Loved by great grandchildren Madeleine and Sydney Radke, Mason, Maddox and Sienna Schomann, and Gabriella and Joshua Radke. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Fran Betz of Grafton and nephew Jim (Sue) Pipkorn of Cedarburg along with other family and friends. Preceded in death by Clem Freitag and Bud Klenner, sister Evelyn Pipkorn, parents Henry and Ida Jerschefske, sister-in-law Anne Weber, brothers-in-law William Betz, Norbert Freitag, and LeRoy Weber, and nephew Ken Weber. Ruth was lovingly known as “Chief” by her grandchildren because of her involvement in their lives. She was life-loving, enjoyed a good time and relished spending time with her family. She was loved by all and will be deeply missed. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday July 24, 6 PM at First Immanuel Lutheran Church W67 N622 Evergreen Blvd. Cedarburg. Interment Immanuel Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church Tuesday from 4 – 5:45 PM. The family has heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Goniu and his staff, and the wonderful and caring staff of the Lasata Care Center.
