Ruth Ellen Wyler

Ruth E. Wyler (nee Penkwitz) of Waukesha, formerly of Cedarburg, Passed away peacefully at Linden Heights of Waukesha on September 2, 2014 at the age of 90. Ruth was born in Cedarburg, WI on May 29, 1924 to the late Frank and Ruth (nee Daley) Penkwitz. Ruth was actively involved in her church. She was an avid bridge and sheepshead player and enjoyed golf. Ruth had a great sense of style and loved modeling. She was very attached to her cats Sassy and Ebony. Her favorite pastime was collecting shells on the beautiful beaches of Florida. She was an avid Packer and Brewer fan. Ruth will always be remembered for her love of life, her determined spirit and being a devoted friend. Ruth is survived by her children: Kathy (Michael) Wyler, Deborah (Cameron) Atterberry, Robert Wyler and Scott (Elaine) Wyler; Grandchildren: Kristen Bellovary, Christopher (Kathryn) Atterberry, Shannon (Jeremy) Ryder, Lisa (Trevor) Cogswell , Jonathon (Sharon) Klein, Alex Wyler, Andrew (Vanessa) Wyler, Stephanie Wyler, Eric Wyler; great grandchildren: Haley, Zoe, Cameron, Wyatt, Kellen, Charlotte, Greyson, Benjamin, Emerald, Rigby; great great grandchild Carter. Ruth is further survived by other relatives and many friends. Ruth ‘s family expresses their sincere thanks to the staff of Linden Heights Assisted Living for their caring support of Ruth. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 8, 12 NOON at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church 1375 Covered Bridge Rd. Cedarburg. Interment church cemetery. Instate at the church Monday 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM.
