Robert P. Hubacek

Robert P. “Bob” Hubacek, of Grafton, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at the Kathy Hospice, in West Bend, at the age of 91 years.

Bob was born on September 1, 1932, in Random Lake, the son of the late Louis Hubacek and the late Anna (nee Prom) Hubacek. He attended St. Joseph Catholic School, in Grafton and later graduated from Grafton High School. Shortly after his high school graduation, Bob enlisted into the United States Army where he served from December of 1952, until he was honorably discharged, in October of 1954. He then went on to work for Doerr Electric as a supervisor for the next 40 years.

Bob was united in marriage to Margaret “Marge” Hinowicz on September 30, 1961, at St. James Catholic Church, in Mequon. They enjoyed a simple life together, soaking up nature, as well as spending time with family and friends.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Marge Hubacek, and his sister-in-law, Barbara Hinowicz. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, June 27, 2024, 4:30 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church (1619 Washington St.), Grafton. He will be in state, at the church, from 3:00 PM until the time of service. Interment will take place on Friday, June 28, 2024, 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, in Grafton. Memorials can be made in memory of Bob to St. Joseph Catholic Church or School.
