Stelter, Robert F. “Bob” GRAFTON – Our Husband, Father and Brother passed away peacefully ending his battle with cancer and entering Jesus’ loving arms on November 25, 2019 at the age of 84. Bob was a loving and devoted husband to Sandra (nee Kopp) Stelter for more than 58 years. He was the Dad that left unforgettable memories in the hearts of his children—Linda (Jim) Eidman, Rob (Julie) Stelter, Lisa D’Cunha, and Anne (Brian) Krueger. He was also the cherished Gramps of Lauren (Mike) Dixon, Alex Eidman, Ben and Matthew Stelter, Hannah, Mikayla, and Joey D’Cunha and Julia and Olivia Krueger. Bob is also survived by his devoted and loving sisters, Ruth (Ed) Wolf and Joan (the late Mel) Gamble as well as his good friend and brother-in-law, George (Jane) Kopp and sister-in-law, MaryAnn Kopp. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Stella Stelter, his brother, Ron and brother-in-law, Mike Kopp. Bob was born on May 6, 1935 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He spent much of his childhood on a farm in Ozaukee County. After moving to Augusta, Wisconsin he graduated from High School in 1953. He served his country in the United States Navy and upon his discharge, returned to Cedarburg. It was here where he met Sandy, the love of his life. Together they raised their four children who blessed them with nine wonderful grandchildren. Bob’s family was always the center of his world and he lived by his motto “family first.” Bob’s legacy to his family is the lake home in Mount Morris, Wisconsin where family often gathered to enjoy time together. Bob built a career in finance and banking, enjoying a successful 40 years, most of which were spent with M&I Bank. Upon his retirement in 2000, he kept busy by attending countless activities for his grandchildren, traveling the world with family and friends and spending winters in Florida. Bob also had a passion for the game of golf, getting in a round as often as possible. Bob was an original DIYer, completing many house projects providing yet another example of his strong work ethic. Bob’s service to helping others is a testament of his faith. He was a longtime active member of Faith Lutheran Church in Cedarburg and a proud participant of several community organizations and business associations. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 2, 2019 – 4:00 PM at Faith Lutheran Church N35 W6621 Wilson Ave. Cedarburg. Family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 2:00 PM – 3:45 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Faith Lutheran Church or charity of your choice appreciated. Sincere thanks to all those who have supported Sandy and the family during this challenging journey.
