Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 11:30am at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church, 1375 Covered Bridge Road, Cedarburg for Rita A. Bert (nee Nack) who was Born to Eternal Life on Friday, October 25, 2019 at the age of 88 years surrounded by her family. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019 at the Mueller Funeral Home, W63N527 Hanover Avenue, Cedarburg from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Cedarburg Cultural Center or charity of your choice appreciated. Special thank you from Rita’s family to the staff at Ellen’s Home in Port Washington and Horizon Hospice for their compassionate and loving care. Rita was born in Milwaukee, WI on November 19, 1930 the daughter of the late Max and Josephine (nee Fleck) Nack. She married John “Jack” Bert on October 7, 1950 in Milwaukee, WI and they were blessed with 5 children. Rita had many accomplishments throughout the years but nothing was more satisfying than her loving children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children: John R. “Jack” (Sandy) Bert of Indianapolis, IN, Mary Jo (Jim) Fuhry of Port Washington, WI, Maxine (Jack) Biskobing of West Bend, WI, Anne Wick of Cedarburg, WI, and Margaret (Mark) Mittelstadt of Glendale, WI; Grandchildren: Angela (Ronnie) Weston, Nick(Amy) Fuhry , Erica (Nick) Wray, Marcus (Tiffany) Biskobing, Brian (Kim) Wick and Karen (Chris) Wronski, great-grandchildren, Brandon, Preston and Trenton Fuhry, James and Amelia Wray, Cayden and Kylan Biskobing, Noah and Kaylee Wick, Graham, Scarlett and Sebastian Wronski, other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by her loving husband John “Jack” Bert, brother Roland Nack and sisters, Joanne O’Brien, Marion Martiny and Maxine Nack.
