Ehlke, Richard E. “Dick” Of Jackson, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, June 30, 2017 age 68. Loving husband of Cindy (Nee Laverenz). Loving father of Andy (Corrin) and Jessica (Ben) Washburn. Proud Papa of Joey, Sam, Lizzy, Evie and Kate Ehlke; Caden and Liam Washburn. Dear brother of Harold (Janice) Ehlke. Dear son-in-law of Al and Ruth Laverenz. Dick is further survived by sister-in-law Donna (Chuck) Kison and brother-in-law Gary (Gail) Laverenz; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dick was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Myrtle (Nee Hoffman) Ehlke and a nephew, Kevin Kison. Dick was a member of the Peter Wollner Post 288 of Cedarburg and a lifelong member of David’s Star Ev. Lutheran Church. Dick’s favorite pastimes were snowmobiling, deer and turkey hunting, shooting trap and carpentry. Dick was employed by Carlson Tool in Cedarburg for 39 years. Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 8, 2017 – 2:00 PM at David’s Star Ev. Lutheran Church 2740 David’s Star Dr. Jackson, WI. Interment with full military honors will be in David’s Star Ev. Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Sat. from 11:00 AM – 1:45 PM. Memorials to David’s Star Ev. Lutheran Church Building Fund, KMLHS or the charity of your choice are appreciated.
