Ramon 'Bud' Schmidt

Ramon “Bud” Schmidt of Grafton passed away on Friday June 7, 2013 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, AR at the age of 85 years. Bud was born in Wittenberg, WI on August 24, 1927 to the late Walter & Ida (nee Zahn) Schmidt and married the late Beatrice “Bea” (nee Wagner) on July 28, 1951 at Memorial Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. Bud was a owner/operator truck driver for Chief Trucking, he was a long time active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton. He also was a member of the Sheboygan Accordion Club and graduated from Red Wing Technical College in Red Wing, MN on May 29, 1992 with a degree in Accordion Repair. He is survived by his children; David (Doris) of Grafton, Daniel (Donna) of Flippin, AR & Diane (Andy) Schumann of Fredonia, grandchildren; Jennifer (Marcus) Walser of Flippin, AR, Jason Schmidt of Summit, AR, Erin Schmidt of Grafton, Melissa (Ryan) Neitzel of Milwaukee, Katherine Schmidt of Grafton, Tim Schumann of Fredonia, Michelle Schumann of Fredonia, & Robert Schumann of Fredonia, great grandchildren; Madeline Schmidt & Maylin Walser of Flippin, AR, sister; Dejon (Eugene) Wagner of Milwaukee. He was preceded in death by his wife Bea & grandson Matthew Ramon Schumann. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 13, 1 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church 701 Washington St. Grafton. Interment church cemetery. Instate at the church on Thursday from 11 AM – 12:45 PM.
