of Grafton, passed away at the age of 82 years. Loving husband of Irmgard (nee Wintersberger). Beloved dad of Karin Shirripa, Peter (Terri) Knauer, and Erika (Jeff) Cole. Proud “Opa” of Nicholas, Alexander, Shaye, Hannah, Annlya, Caden, Calen, Emily, and Julia. Dear brother of Hilda (Russ) Douglas. Further survived by many other relatives and friends both in the U.S. as well as Germany. Preceded in death by two siblings, John and Liz. Funeral Service Friday, November 2, 2018, 6PM at the Mueller Funeral Home, in Grafton. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. In state on Friday, from 3PM until 5:45PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Grafton Fire Department Association are appreciated.
