Naomi Bethany Shelvik

Naomi Bethany Shelvik, 24 Former Grafton resident Naomi Shelvik passed away March 9, 2019 in her home in Plymouth, Wisconsin from a pulmonary embolism. Naomi was born May 29, 1994, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Norman and Jane Shelvik. From the moment she was born Naomi could light up a room with her smiling face, but that’s expected when the first word out of her mouth was “Hallelujah”. Naomi’s vibrant personality was shared amongst so many, from deep bonds with friends in Arizona to Tennessee to Missouri. She was wonderfully creative and would often sketch pictures of characters from her favorite shows and books, and was an avid photographer, always finding the beauty in everything around her. She was deeply loved by her family and friends who look forward to reuniting with her one day in heaven. Naomi will be deeply missed, as each of us holds a piece of her in our hearts. She awaits in heaven for the arrival of her boyfriend, Nathan Kennedy; her siblings Alyssa Scalone, Ryan Shelvik , and Stephanie Shelvik; her grandparents, Vernon and Jill Spieker and her parents, Norman and Jane Shelvik. Funeral service will be at Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church(1332 Arrowhead Rd.)Grafton, Wisconsin on Saturday March 16, 2019 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will take place at the church, from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will take place at Woodlawn cemetery in Grafton. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Our Savior Lutheran School are appreciated.
