Nancy M. Richter

Nancy M. Richter (Nee Kostur) Who resided in the Town of Grafton, died peacefully at Anita’s Gardens in Port Washington on August 4, 2016 at the age of 80. Nancy was born in Erie, PA on August 16, 1935 the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Nee Pamula) Kostur. Nancy graduated from Academy High School in Erie, PA with High Honors the class of 1953. Nancy enjoyed gardening and taking care of her many flowers around her home. Nancy also enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, volunteering as a caregiver for other, feeding all the wildlife around her home, but most importantly spending time with her family. Nancy is survived by her husband William “Bud” Richter; children: Karen (Ken) Konicek, Kathleen Richter and Stephen Richter; Grandchildren: Rachel Konicek, Michael Konicek, Erin Fitzpatrick, Adam Richter and Christopher Fitzpatrick; Great Grandchild Jessica Fitzpatrick; other relatives and many friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her son Michael Richter. A celebration of Nancy's Life will be held on Friday August 19, 2016 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at the American Legion Rose-Harms Post #355, 1540 13th Avenue in Grafton.
