It is with great sadness that the family of Michael Edward Brewer announce his passing on September 10, 2019 at the age of 55, after a valiant battle against cancer. Michael was born in St. Petersburg, Florida on November 22, 1963 to Bill Brewer and Virginia (Brewer) Kellison. Michael met his wife (Michele Brunner) on a spontaneous trip to Palm Springs, California and neither ever looked back enjoying twenty-nine years of marriage. Michael’s purpose in life was to take care of his family, his strength and commitment to those he loved was unwavering. Michael's friends knew him as reliable, honest, forth-right, and someone you could always depend on. He demonstrated to his four children what a loving marriage, devoted father and son looked like. Life in the Brewer household was always filled with love, laughter and dancing, which he was very good at. He also spent quiet time with his two four-legged pals, Toulouse his cat and best buddy Daisy, his German Shepherd. Michael was fearless and served his country as an Army Ranger in the 82nd Airborne. Michael was employed for 30 years in various areas of management in the automotive sales industry in San Diego, Phoenix and most recently at 5 Corners Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, as General Sales Manager in Cedarburg, WI. Michael was a devout Catholic and an active member at St. Francis Borgia Church. Michael loved golf, cooking and was an excellent artist. His favorite escape always involved water, whether hanging out at his backyard pool, boating or beach vacation getaways. He was a rare combination of someone who had a love of life and a firm understanding of what was important — the simplicity of living a life with those you love. Michael is survived by wife Michele and his 4 children: Jacob, Meghan, Emma and Matthew, father Bill Brewer, mother Virginia Kellison and sister Michelle Brewer, along with countless other dear friends and family members. Michael will be remembered for his strength, gentleness and devotion to those he loved. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 21 at St. Frances Borgia North Catholic Church, 1375 Covered Bridge Rd, Cedarburg WI 53012 with visitation preceding from 11:00 – 1:00 PM.
