Mary M. Lloyd [nee Callahan] 92 of Cedarburg, Wl and New Port Richey, FL died on Sept. 12, 2018 after battling Alzheimers since 2008. Mary was born on August 4, 1926, to Lillian and Timothy Callahan. Mary is survived by her husband William, son John, daughter Catherine [Ron] Borchardt. Further survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her sons James and David, her parents and her brothers, John, Raymond, and Dennis. Mary attended Holy Angels Academy, Riverside High School and Milwaukee Teacher's College where she received her teaching degree. She taught in the Milwaukee Public Schools until and after she married her beloved husband, Bill of sixty-eight years. She then helped Bill in his electrical businesses. Mary was always a cheerful person and always had a smile for you, even if she didn't know you. One of Mary's favorite places was the "cottage" in Door County where she and her family spent forty wonderful summers. Mary was an avid golfer and she and Bill enjoyed playing golf in Wl and FL. Mary also loved to travel. Mary and Bill traveled to many places around the world. She especially enjoyed her many visits to her relatives in Ireland, her favorite place on Earth. Mary will be missed by everyone who knew her. The family would like to thank Family Tree Assisted Living for their care of Mary for the past eight years. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of your choice are appreciated. Memorial Service Tuesday, September 18, 5PM at the Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg. Family will receive friends at the funeral Tuesday from 3-4:45PM.
