Mary J Kostrewa

Mary Kostrewa of Grafton went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on June 9, 2016 at the age of 93. Mary was born on September 2, 1922 in Omaha Nebraska, the daughter of the late Frank and Ludmilla (Nee Sochor) Jakes. Mary joined the United States Marine Corp at the age of 17. She was stationed in El Centro, CA and served in WWII. This is also where Mary met and married Eugene Kostrewa in 1945. Mary was employed at Est. Company (Pace) in Grafton for 35 years. Mary is survived by her 4 children: Sharon (Mark) Stalter of Sheboygan, WI, Linda Coker of Grafton, Eugene (Jan) Kostrewa of Kokoma, IN and Kristine (Dan) Simonson of Hartford, WI. Mary is further survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 20 great-great grandchildren, her sister Julia Barrett and many nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service with full military honors will be held on Monday, June 13, 2016 – 12 NOON at Mueller Funeral Home in Grafton. Family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM
