Pusch, Mary H. (nee Duehning) Of Grafton. Mary passed away May 17, 2021 at the age of 89 with her grandson, Braden and her Boston Terrier Maizie by her side. Beloved wife of the late Melvin Herbert Frank Pusch. Loving mom to Michael (Deb), Melinda (Tom) Klinka and Mark. Further survived by grandchildren: Mallory (Chuck) Medley, Skylar (Bryan) Anderson, Matthew Klinka, Nicholas Klinka, Braden Pusch, Logan Pusch, Carson Pusch and great-grandchildren: Vivian Lowe, Charleigh Medley and August Anderson. She is also survived by sister-in-law Carol Pusch, sister-in-law LaVerne (Richard) Zahnow, brother-in-law, Delbert Ehlers, and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Ruth Jordan, brother-in-laws: Edward Pusch, Willard Pusch, Waldemar (Adeline) Pusch and Ruben Pusch, sister-in-laws: Eleonora (Arnold) Hundt, Leona (Erwin) Hunt, Ruth (Ray) Schulz, Adeline (Norbert) Berndt and Violet Ehlers. Mary was born on August 6, 1931 in Slinger, WI to John and “Skipper” Leone (nee Hertzberg) Duehning. Growing up in the Duehning household, Mary was introduced to music, which became one of her lifelong passions as her parents toured the Midwest with their orchestra, “Skipper Leone and the Deckhands” on almost every weekend. Mary attended Northwestern Prep for three years, then transferred to and graduated from Hartford High School. She married the love of her life, Melvin Herbert Frank Pusch on Dec. 6, 1952 and then had three children, Michael, Melinda and Mark. Mary was very strong in her faith. She and Mel were founding members of St. Paul Mixed Choir. She sang for over 60+ years with them and was also an accomplished soloist who sang for many weddings and church services. Mary worked throughout her life at various administrator positions, most recently at the Ozaukee County Environmental Health Department. Besides golf, bowling, card clubs and traveling, Mary’s other passion in life was her Boston Terriers. Over the years, she had several dogs which brightened up her life immensely: Mitzi, Tina, Mandy, Molly, Maggie and Maizie. A visitation will be held for Mary at St. Paul Lutheran Church 701 W. Washington St, Grafton on May 21, 2021from 10:00am to 11:15am with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:30am. Immediately following the service, the interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hartford, WI. Following the interment, lunch will be served. The family would like to thank Preceptor Hospice and Auberge at Oak Village in Menomonee Falls for their kindness and compassion. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church-Mixed Choir or the Ozaukee Humane Society are appreciated.
