Martha Niess

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2008, at 6PM for Martha Niess (nee Veith) of Mequon. Visitation will be held at Alliance Bible Church, 13939 N. Cedarburg Rd., Mequon, Sun. from 4PM to 6PM. Rev. Lee Nanfeldt will officiate the service. Interment will take place at Zur Ruhe Cemetery in Cedarburg. Memorials to the Alliance Bible Church Benevolence Fund will be appreciated. Martha was born on November 27, 1931, in Rio Grande Do Sul, Brazil, to the late Johann Georg and the late Anna Barbara Veith (nee Weber). Martha loved gardening with her husband Waldemar and had a passion for cooking. She also had a green thumb, developing many beautiful summer flower gardens along with dozens of indoor plants. To her this was extremely fulfilling. Martha is survived by her husband Waldemar, children Thomas (Marilou) Niess of Mequon and Ralph (Eva) Niess of Glendale, Arizona. She is further survived by nieces and nephews in New York and Germany and many dear friends. Memorials: Memorials to the Alliance Bible Church Benevolence Fund will be appreciated.
